Renault Kangoo E-Tech Deep Clean

This Renault Kangoo E-Tech came to BH Automotive Detailing ahead of lease return, needing a proper reset rather than a quick tidy-up.

As a commercial vehicle, it had picked up the kind of use you would expect from day-to-day working life. Lower panels were carrying heavy road film, tar and general grime, with clear contamination bonded into the paintwork. Door shuts and rear openings had built-up organic soiling, and the interior had the usual signs of regular commercial use - dust, ingrained dirt, muddy flooring and neglected hard surfaces.

For vehicles like this, presentation matters. Whether it is being handed back to a lease company, prepared for inspection or simply brought back into a condition that feels respectable again, the difference is rarely made by a fast wash. It comes from methodical cleaning in the places that are usually skipped.

We began with a full exterior Deep Clean using our safe wash process, working through the heavier contamination first so that the contact stage could be carried out properly. On this Kangoo, that included a thorough chemical decontamination to remove iron fallout and tar from the paintwork, along with detailed cleaning around shuts, seals and trim where grime had accumulated.

The rear door shut area in particular showed exactly why commercial vehicles benefit from a higher standard of care. What begins as moisture, traffic film and organic residue soon becomes staining and buildup in edges, seams and recesses. Once cleaned back correctly, the improvement is immediate. The van feels cared for again, not just washed.

Inside, the aim was the same - restore order, not simply remove the obvious. The cabin received a full interior Deep Clean focused on the high-contact and high-visibility areas that shape first impressions. Dust and residue around the centre controls, storage spaces and seat bases were cleaned away, muddy flooring was addressed, and the cabin plastics were reset to a clean, dry, factory-appropriate finish.

The finished result is exactly what a lease return commercial vehicle should be - clean, honest and properly presented. Not artificially dressed, not rushed, and not hiding neglect behind shine. Just a well-processed vehiclereturned to a condition that reflects far better on its owner and its use.

For working vehicles, that approach matters. Commercials often absorb harder use than private cars, but that does not mean they should be handed back in tired condition. A thorough Deep Clean gives the next inspection, handover or ownership stage a far better starting point.
