BH Automotive Detailing seeks to provide the best, complete detailing service experience. We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for considering our services and point out some of the terms and conditions of our business criteria. We hope you will find these policies listed below helpful and informative in explaining the extent of our automotive detailing services.

By scheduling any service with BH Automotive Detailing, you hereby agree to all terms listed on this page.

Service Sales

Booking, rescheduling and cancellations

BH Automotive Detailing appointments are handled via bhautomotivedetailing.co.uk. Once the appointment is scheduled you will receive an email notification.

Things happen in life we cannot control. We want to work with you when issues pop up. BH Automotive Detailing can reschedule your appointment at any time and will inform you of the change as soon as practicably possible. Cancellations and rescheduling must be made at least 12 hours or more in advance of the booked appointment via bhautomotivedetailing.co.uk or any other channel. Cancellations within 12 hours of the booked appointment, or no call/no show, will be invoiced according to the following terms.

In the event of not pre-paying BH Automotive Detailing for services but services were provided during the cooling-off period at your request, you'll be expected to pay BH Automotive Detailing for these unless your contract states otherwise.

In the event you have pre-paid for a service you’ve arranged online, over the phone, or verbally you have a 14-day cooling-off period. During the 14 days, you can cancel for any reason and receive a refund. You also get this cooling-off period if you were approached by BH Automotive Detailing somewhere away from the business’s premises and the service costs £42 or more. The only exception is if you asked for services to be provided by BH Automotive Detailing during the cooling-off period, in which case BH Automotive Detailing will keep what’s necessary to cover the cost of services provided up until you cancelled and an invoice will provided to you.

Your 14-day cooling-off period begins the day after you enter a contract with BH Automotive Detailing - whether the contract's written down or if it's a verbal contract.

Payment Terms

Unless otherwise stated, arranged or discussed, prices are inclusive of VAT. VAT Registration No.: 440855983. Payment is due on the date of service. We accept bank transfer, debit and credit cards, any contactless payment, or cash. Please do not leave any payments in the vehicle; these will be assumed to be client property and will remain in the vehicle.

If invoice is preferred, these will be provided on a Net15 basis and will become due 15 days following service completion. Failure to settle the invoice by this date will result in further action being taken to recover funds. Attempts will be made to contact you by telephone, email and mail. BH Automotive Detailing does not provide services on credit. Please contact BH Automotive Detailing in the first instance to discuss payment options if circumstances may prevent meeting these terms.

Paint correction, polishing and scratch removal

Paint correction by its definition is the removal of defects in the paint surface of the vehicle. 

Some scratches may be too deep to remove safely. We will always do our best to minimise them but at the risk of removing too much clear coat, we will always err on the side of caution. It is better to live with a scratch versus taking away too much clear coat. There is only so much clear coat on a vehicle and it can be easy to remove too much material. Once the clear coat is breached and removed, the vehicle panel would need to be repainted. 

The amount of labour your vehicle needs to get it looking its best is different for every vehicle. Our online prices are fixed so you can budget accordingly. However, if the service you have chosen does not match the finish you desire, we’ll manage your expectations. The best way is via a free pre-service inspection prior to booking which can be arranged by contacting us.

Pre-existing damages

It is difficult to find pre-existing damages during the initial vehicle inspection. Some vehicles, tend to have interior components that are broken, scratched, worn out, faded, don’t work, or become loose and cracked without the owner’s knowledge, therefore should BH Automotive Detailing find any items that are not working properly, worn, scratched, cracked, faded, or broken we will bring it to your attention. You agree not to hold BH Automotive Detailing responsible for any pre-existing damages to your vehicle.

Dirt can hide swirl marks, scratches, dents, paint chips, fine lines, and marks, should a BH Automotive Detailing find any exterior or interior imperfections, we will make you aware, however BH Automotive Detailing will not be responsible for correcting these pre-existing paint imperfections if your service does not include it. During paint correction, other paint defects may become evident, and we will not be responsible for these pre-existing paint imperfections. Smaller scratches, swirls and other defects tend to hide and mask more serious and deeper scratches that will then be more easily seen after paint correction. BH Automotive Detailing will not be held responsible should we find pre-existing paint imperfection during our normal course of detailing of which you were not aware.

Removal of personal items

Please remove all personal items prior to your appointment. Although we will give utmost care to anything left inside your vehicle, we cannot be held responsible for any personal items left behind.

Child seats

Due to child safety and liability reasons, we will not remove or replace car seats under any circumstances. We ask that our clients remove child seats and booster seats prior to appointment. Should the seat be left in the vehicle we will do our best to clean around the seat but can’t promise your total satisfaction.

Door safety locks/child locks/vehicle settings/seat positions

Due to the cleaning process and liability reasons, BH Automotive Detailing cannot guarantee that any safety locks, vehicles settings or seat positions will be the left in the positions they were in at the start of any service provided. We ask that, if necessary, clients direct BH Automotive Detailing to any ‘cleaning mode’ the vehicle may have prior to service commencement. If any part of the vehicle cannot be accessed, including with reasonable force, the client will be notified.

Soiled vehicles

Vehicles which include pet hair, excessive mud, vomit or soiling of a similar nature will incur an additional fee between £10.00 and £80.00. The client will be notified of this and agree prior to starting work. BH Automotive Detailing reserves the right to refuse completion of services in these circumstances.

Vehicle battery

The client understands that the doors, boot, and bonnet may be open for extended periods and may cause battery discharge. I authorise BH Automotive Detailing to disconnect battery to ensure battery charge and/or safety. I authorise BH Automotive Detailing to start and stop the vehicle, as required, keeping it stationary.

Service time policy

Our service times are only an estimate. Your vehicle may take more or less time to complete the agreed upon services. If a deadline is essential, this must be disclosed to BH Automotive Detailing prior to work starting. If we are unable to complete the booked service within the arranged time due to inclement weather we will arrange to finish the booked service at another time at no additional charge.

Health and safety during inclement weather

If the surface temperature is low enough for water to potentially freeze, or below, rock salt shall be applied to the ground around the vehicle and mobile detailing unit to ensure the safety of you and your detailer. Please inform BH Automotive in the first instance, prior to the booked appointment, where this would not be appropriate for the surface to be salted. BH Automotive Detailing holds no responsibility for damage that rock salt may cause to the surfaces in which it is applied.

Photo/video rights

When scheduling services with BH Automotive Detailing, you give us the right to post and use photos and videos of your vehicle before, during and after the service is performed. We will not identify our clients by name or disclose number plate registration without their prior permission. Every effort will be made to maintain discretion of vehicle location ‘in camera’.

Service guarantee

Upon completion of your vehicle, we will walk you through a complete of agreed upon services and the results achieved. If, in the unlikely event, you are not completely satisfied with the results, we will make it right at no additional cost and at a time which is both convenient to you and available with BH Automotive Detailing at the time of the vehicle delivery inspection. Service claims must be presented to BH Automotive Detailing within 48 hours of the Vehicle Handover.

Regarding coatings, the vehicle needs to be maintained using our Maintenance Valets as a minimum in order to guarantee the stated duration of the coating. It is unlikely that the stated duration of coatings is not achieved however, BH Automotive Detailing cannot guarantee this if any other detailing or valeting company/individual has completed on the vehicle throughout the stated duration. In some circumstances, BH Automotive Detailing can maintain the service guarantee following advice provided to the client. The client is to contact BH Automotive Detailing in the first instance if service by a detailing or valeting company/individual is to take place to confirm.

Product Sales

BH Automotive Detailing offers a limited range of physical goods and accessories, some of which may be personalised or made to order. The following terms apply to all product sales made online, in person, or by any other means.

Product description and availability

We make every effort to ensure that all product descriptions, images, and prices are accurate at the time of publication. However, minor variations in colour, texture, packaging, or finish may occur. Availability is subject to stock and production capacity at the time of ordering. BH Automotive Detailing reserves the right to withdraw or substitute products without notice.

Personalised or made-to-order products

Products that are personalised, customised, or made to order will be produced according to the information you provide at checkout. To ensure accuracy, BH Automotive Detailing will confirm all personalisation details with you before production begins. Personalised products will not be manufactured until this confirmation has been received.

If no confirmation is received within 14 calendar days of purchase, the order will be automatically cancelled, and a refund will be issued to the original payment method.

Once confirmation has been provided and production has begun, the usual right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 does not apply, unless the goods are faulty or not as described. BH Automotive Detailing cannot accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations for personalised or made-to-order items unless an error has been made by us or the product is defective.

Lead time for manufacture is typically 5–7 working days from confirmation. If a tracked postal service is used, the customer will be provided with a tracking reference number upon dispatch.

If a product is faulty, damaged, or incorrect on delivery, please contact BH Automotive Detailing within 48 hours of receipt so that we can arrange a replacement or refund.

Non-personalised products

For all non-personalised goods purchased as a consumer, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods without giving any reason. To exercise this right, you must notify BH Automotive Detailing in writing by email. You then have a further 14 days to return the goods in their original, unused condition.
You are responsible for return postage costs unless the item is faulty or incorrect. Refunds will be made within 14 days of receipt of the returned items to the original payment method.

Pricing and payment

All prices are stated in pounds sterling and include VAT unless otherwise indicated. Payment must be received in full before dispatch or production begins. BH Automotive Detailing accepts major debit and credit cards, contactless payments, and other payment methods shown at checkout.

Delivery

Estimated delivery or production times will be displayed at checkout. While every effort is made to deliver within the stated timeframe, delays may occasionally occur due to courier delays or supply issues beyond our control.
Risk in the goods passes to you upon delivery, but ownership remains with BH Automotive Detailing until payment is received in full.

Faulty or damaged products

All products are inspected prior to dispatch. In the unlikely event that your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact BH Automotive Detailing within 48 hours of receipt, providing photographs where possible. We will assess the issue and arrange a replacement or refund as appropriate.
This does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Warranty and liability

Products are supplied for domestic and private use only. BH Automotive Detailing warrants that goods will be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. BH Automotive Detailing will not be liable for any indirect loss, consequential loss, or loss of profit arising from the purchase or use of our products, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from product purchases shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
